...and upon a quick search of "Parade of Progress", I discover its a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I saw it on I-96, going East (I'm in Michigan). Using the web address on the trailer, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , I found out there's a show in Milford, MI, July 19-20, so that's probably where it's headed.
Thankfully I am developing amazing cellphone picture taking skills, because my eyes were on the road while taking it. They came up pretty well I think.
Anyways, that car is a beauty, I feel honored to even see it because it's apparently rare.

That belongs to Ron Pratt, who will be auctioning his entire collection at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale this coming January. He's probably displaying it to drum up excitement for the auction.

yeah, rare for sure. I am just sad you didnt catch it trucking down the highway under its own power. That sweet sweet 4 cylinder diesel power (if it was an early one)

Holy ahit! I remember seeing one of those things in the back of an auto magazine around 2006 :)
From what I remember, they've got stairs in them.

Knowing what that is, I'd have probably wrecked the car.

Those things are very rare, very valuable. And very cool. A unicorn if ever there was one.

Yeah, that was on the website as well. I saw it in the Howell area, and Milford is actually east of Howell. And I read there were a few of futurliners left.

That would of been cool, but I suppose the repair costs would of gotten out of hand. Plus, this way, it lives longer.

It got my attention. I thought it was a chromed bus from a distance. I'm glad I was wrong, :)

Those things are super cool. I've had the opportunity to see/climb around in and on 2 of them.

That would be epic...

Yeah, apparently only 12 were built, I think 9 are left.

Wow! That's quite the unicorn you spotted today. A very big, very large unicorn.

driving it must be a pain, the drivers seat is so high up!

It seems the middle top part can open up. Like a stage perhaps?

I'm always blown away at how big those things are. Awesome sighting for sure.

Hard to see in this picture, but a stage is exactly what it is

The view's better from inside ;) (not pictured: the McLaren F1 style 3 seat set-up)

Forget the McLaren, This bus keeps getting better and better!

If I ever start a band, I want this as my tour bus

I do know that one of them has been turned into an RV, which is pretty close
